World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion Greg Raymer is going to be the host for the Delaware Park Classic. He is chosen by Kevin Castora, the manager of the Delaware
Park’s poker room. Greg “Fossilman” Raymer is expected to be a great host for his friendly nature and love for poker.
Delaware Park has a great impression on the poker scene of the Northeast America. Instead of being satisfied with drawing players only from the East Coast, Castora
always endeavors for more innovative and exciting tournaments which are sure to attract more players from all over the country.
Both the poker rooms are busy all the time and are run perfectly by highly qualified staff. According to poker player Danny Auman, the place makes one feel welcome as
soon as he walks in the doors. All the staff and even the players make one feel at home. The whole environment reminds one of a casual home game with the setting
being much larger.
The detailed schedule for the Delaware Park Poker Classic can be viewed in the Poker Player Newspaper. The tournament will take place from 14 March to 2 April 2012.
Event No. 8 is going to take place on 18th March, Sunday. Its heads-up championship is $ 230. In 2011, it was $ 150 and was sold out in advance with a total of 64 players.
This year, the heads-up championship has been increased to $ 230 and it will be highlighted as the featured event of the day. The fact that there are not many reasonable
buy-in events makes the event No. 8 so popular.
A player appreciation tournament, Event No.12 is a $150 buy-in with an extra $5,000 to the prize-pool. Event No. 16, a $340 buy-in, is another player appreciation
tournament with an addition of $10,000 to the prize-pool.
